The Public Records and Information Practices Conference (PRIPC) was held
on March 27, 2013 with 200 people from UC San Diego and other campuses
in attendance. Conference topics ranged from the project underway to
update the UC Records Retention Schedules to the laws, policies and best
practices applicable to maintaining university records. Audience
questions about e-mail security, migrations from paper to electronic
document systems, and privacy/access of administrative records were
fielded by experts from Office of the President, Campus Counsel's
office, ACT - IT, and Policy & Records Administration.
