OVERVIEW SESSIONS ON NEW NIH OPEN ACCESS POLICY
The UCSD Biomedical Library is offering several overview sessions about
the new NIH Open Access Policy (http://publicaccess.nih.gov), which took
effect on April 7:
· April 21 (Mon.), 11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Geisel Library, Seuss Room
· April 30 (Wed.), 12-1 p.m. – Geisel Library, Seuss Room
· May 13 (Tues.), 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Medical Center Library (Hillcrest), Lower Level
· May 16 (Fri.), 2:00-3:00 p.m. – Biomedical Library, Events Room
· May 20 (Tues.), 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Biomedical Library, Events Room
Researchers can sign up for a class at
http://biomed.ucsd.edu/services/instruc.htm . Customized sessions for
groups of researchers can also be arranged. The UCSD Biomedical Library
has developed a website to explain some of the key elements of the
policy, and the UC implementation of it:
