The UC San Diego community is invited to Homecoming Weekend 2009, taking place Friday, Oct. 16 – Sunday, Oct. 18. Organized by Athletics and the UCSD Alumni Association, the weekend includes spirited activities for alumni, families and students.

Triton Men’s Water Polo vs. UCSB Gauchos
Friday, Oct. 16, 6 p.m.
Cheer on the Tritons with alumni and students as the Men’s Water Polo team takes on the UCSB Gauchos. Reserved seating for alumni.

Campus Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m.
Test your knowledge of UCSD legends and lore; visit new places on campus and see how familiar sights have changed; compete against fellow alumni and current students for great prizes.

Homecoming BBQ and Beer Garden
Saturday, Oct. 17, 12 p.m.
Join fellow alumni, families and athletes for a casual afternoon BBQ with special activities for the kids.

Sunrise Recreation Activities
Sunday, Oct. 18
Engage your body and mind with a one-hour gentle yoga session led by Alexia Cervantes ’90. Then, take a scenic meander to the nostalgic Black’s Beach with the UCSD Walk coordinator and wellness educator, and conclude the morning with a brief and relaxing meditation session.

Championship Brunch
Sunday, Oct. 18, 10:30 a.m.
The Championship Brunch will celebrate Triton Athletics and honor the NCAA Championships of the 1989 and 1999 women’s soccer teams, the 1990 women’s volleyball team, and the 2000 men’s volleyball team.
