"Help Students' Build Confidence in Communication, Leadership and Public Speaking Skills with ETS!"

Dear UCSD Staff and Faculty,

The UCSD Express to Success Programs is a campus-wide co-curricular program that stresses the importance of effective interpersonal, social interaction, public speaking and leadership skills through a variety of training programs for both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to the workshops, seminars and programs we provide, our staff work closely with various student organizations and academic and student affairs departments to meet the communication skill development needs of our student body. The development of effective interpersonal communication and public speaking skills are critical for students' success in personal, professional and academic endeavors, and ETS is committed to helping students enhance these important skills.

We ask that you encourage your students to participate in the various programs offered by Express to Success! The following programs are available for the 2009-2010 academic year:

ETS staff can also work with groups of students preparing for their roles as student leaders or student employees or for an in-class presentation during the quarter! If you are interested in ETS staff providing public speaking or communication training for your students, please do not hesitate visit us online at http://ets.ucsd.edu and submit the ETS Presentation Request Form. Our staff will be in contact with you to set up a meeting to discuss your goals and objectives further and determine how to best serve your students.
