As part of the University’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies and the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS) are hosting a day focusing on Mexico. On Thursday, February 10th at the IR/PS Robinson Building Complex and the International House Great Hall there will be several events including: • An all day symposium titled, “Mexico Moving Forward” featuring internationally known artists, scientists, intellectuals and businessmen • A “Mexico Street Fair” that will highlight the work done by departments and student groups at UC San Diego related to Mexico • A reception titled, “Flavors of Baja” displaying the best of Baja food, drink and craftwork The street fair and reception are free and open to the public.
