AUDITIONS: The La Jolla Symphony & Chorus welcomes trained singers (faculty, staff, student and community) to audition for all voice sections. Candidates should have excellent music reading skills and be interested in a serious commitment to choral singing. Appointments are not required. Auditions will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Audition details can be found at www.lajollasymphony.com. The La Jolla Symphony & Chorus performs masterworks of both classical and contemporary composers in Mandeville Auditorium at UCSD in a six-concert subscription series. Choral repertoire during the balance of the 2010-2011 series includes J.S. Bach’s The Passion According to St. Matthew and Franz Josef Haydn’s Harmonie-Messe.
