Intended for: Employees who are participants in the University of California Retirement System (UCRS).
It is strongly recommended that you participate in this course not more than every two years. (Omitting info regarding other savings programs.)

Through this course, you will have the opportunity to become more
knowledgeable about your retirement benefit options from the University
of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) including:

Intended for: Anyone who operates a university vehicle or electric cart,
utilizes a personal vehicle or rents a vehicle for university business,
or is interested in learning more about driver responsibilities.

This is a classroom-based course and does not include any
behind-the-wheel training. Training content is in compliance with DMV,
NIOSH Pub 98-142 & 2003-119.

The purpose of this course is to help increase prevention efforts along
with driver safety and to reduce losses caused by vehicles. The

FINANCIALLINK: ELECTRONIC NON-PAYROLL EXPENSE TRANSFERS (ENPET)

Intended for: Fiscal administrators, fund managers, and departmental
bookkeepers who are responsible for transferring expenses in accordance
with cost-accounting standards.

In this course, you will learn to navigate through FinancialLink to the
Ledger Reviewer, where you will launch the Electronic Non-Payroll
Expense Transfer (ENPET) process for transferring expenses that should
be moved from one index to another. For those expenses that were
incurred on contracts or grants, you will learn how ENPET evaluates them
for risk, assigns a risk classification in accordance with Federal cost
accounting principles, and requires you to enter explanations of your
transfers.

* Navigating to ENPET
* Selecting transactions to ENPET
* Editing ENPET transactions
* Risk evaluation and cost-accounting standards
* Email notifications for approval
* ENPET justifications

UCSD Biography and Bibliography ("biobib") packet.

The biobib packet is a critical and fundamental element of any academic
appointment or review file. Students in this course will thoroughly
examine and discuss the elements of the biobib. Instructors will lead
the class in several hands-on exercises to help reinforce the concepts
presented. By the end of this course, students will be equipped with
the knowledge to advise on the proper content and format of the biobib
packet.

Topics include:

* Overview of the academic review process and the importance of the
   biobib packet on the general campus and the School of Medicine
* Step-by-step instructions on how to complete the biography
* Overview of the School of Medicine's use of the five most significant
   publications
* Detailed review of the sections of the bibliography and their proper
usage

Intended for: Non-medical individuals who seek to learn cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) techniques.

This course is developed in accordance with American Heart Association
(AHA) guidelines to train you in the basic skills required to respond
effectively in a life threatening emergency situation.

CPR hands on skills are taught using a mannequin (manikin).
Satisfactory completion of a skills performance test results in a
certification card by the AHA.

The course also covers choking and warning signs of heart attacks and
strokes.
