The UC San Diego community is past the mid-point of its 2011 United Way/CHAD Campaign, which culminates on Friday, April 15, 2011. With just two and a half weeks left, we urge you to make your pledge, if you have not already contributed, and to personally help us make this year's theme of "Now More Than Ever, Imagine the Impact of Your Support" a reality.

The instructions and application package along with a list of the UC San Diego recipients of United Way/CHAD Campaign funds can be found at this website. If this is your first time pledging online, you can view a quick demo on how to complete the online application at this website, also.

Your department coordinator can supply a pledge form to you if you prefer to pledge on paper. Your department coordinator's contact information can be found at:

This year, you can continue to track your vice chancellor area's participation rate in the Campaign at:
http://unitedway.ucsd.edu/unwchart. The chart shows the percentage of employees in each area who have pledged support, and is updated in real time each time a donation is made.

Your gift this year will support various community programs, including those that promote financial stability and independence, improve community health by ending chronic homelessness, and protect children from child abuse and neglect.
