The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(r) is the most thoroughly validated and widely used personality assessment instrument in the world. While many people have taken it and know what their "type" is, most people have never learned about some of the deeper insights that can be gained from this information.

CASH CONTROL TRAINING

Intended for: Employees who are handling, processing, and/or depositing cash. Cash is defined as currency, checks, credit cards, money orders, stamps, tokens, tickets, and debit/credit ACH transactions.

This course provides you with an understanding of what constitutes "cash" payments, as well as how those cash payments should be handled. Have you ever wondered if you handle all payments the same? Would you handle currency any differently than a personal check? Do you know how the Campus police can help you when transporting cash? If you had a theft at your location, would you know what to do? All of these questions are discussed and answered during this session.

Specific Business and Finance Bulletin BUS-49, Cashiering Responsibilities and Guidelines policies will be reviewed and discussed. Emphasis will be placed on those critical policy activities relating to segregation of duties, accountability, physical security, and reconciliation. Examples of each activity will be given for further understanding of the control.

In this course, you will learn:

* What is considered cash?
* Who handles cash and the distinctive responsibilities?
* Critical BUS-49 policy activities.
* What is meant by segregation of duties, accountability, physical security and reconciliation?
* The functions that should be segregated and why.
* When accountability is present.
* Physical security issues and how to resolve those issues.
* Available resources to answer cashiering questions.
* Future plans to address cashiering issues.

Intended for: Anyone responsible for the management of Equipment within their department

This 2 hour training will provide each user with the features and benefits of the new CAMS application. By the end of the demonstration each user will have a practical understanding of how to gain access to the application via Single Sign-On, send equipment to Surplus Sales, make edits to an Asset Record, add equipment and Advance Search for existing equipment.

This training is hands on so if you have equipment to send to Surplus please bring your list and learn how to Transfer equipment to Surplus.
