CAMPUS FLYER

Multicultural Showcase

Multicultural Coexistence cordially invites you to their first Multicultural Showcase.

The Multicultural Showcase will be held on May 25th from 6-8 PM in the Great Hall in the International House at UCSD. The event is free to the public and will feature a number of performances from student groups, a variety of refreshments, and a raffle with several prizes from local businesses. Multicultural Coexistence is a group of students committed to social justice and equality, striving to provide supplemental resources to aide students in obtaining the skills to succeed at the college level (such as their tutoring and mentoring program at University City High School) and hopes to combat harmful and misinformed stereotypes through education. The members of MCCE would love to have you join us for a night of cultural celebration through thoughtful conversation, good food, and entertaining performances.

Attendees will be given a ticket upon entry and then have the opportunity to buy additional tickets to enter for the raffle prizes. All proceeds earned from the raffle will be donated to La Clase Magica. La Clase Mágica (LCM) is currently a federation of five community-based projects supported by a non-profit organization called CASA (Center for Academic and Social Advancement), and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in collaboration with Palomar Community College.

For more information or to RSVP, please check our website at mcce.ucsd.edu or contact us at mcce.ucsd@gmail.com

This event is supported by the Cross-Cultural Community Center, Triton Community, and the Associated Students of UCSD.
