New IT Training Subscription Service for UCSD Staff

VIRTUAL INSTRUCTOR IT TRAINING SUBSCRIPTION

Staff Education and Development is pleased to announce the rollout of the Virtual Instructor IT Training Subscription. For $250, or less than the cost of two IT classes in the past, you will be able to take as many IT classes as you wish for one annual price, on a space-available basis. In addition, you will be able to access video demos of specific techniques, watch recorded training sessions, download manuals, sign up for instructor office hours, and attend topical lunchtime webinars. Training will be offered in the classroom and via GoToTraining on the web. For the first time, we are pleased to offer Mac-specific classes and content, too.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: If you sign up before July 1, your subscription will be good through June 30, 2012. You will be able to register for instructor-led sessions (offered online or in the classroom) now, and your access to the library of excellent online tools on the Virtual Instructor web site will be available starting on July 1, 2011.

On and after July 1, 2011, the subscription will be available on a rolling calendar, for one year from the date that your subscription is activated.
