SUBJECT: VERIP III
As you know, there have been on-going discussions about the various measures the University may take to cope with the State budget situation. A Voluntary Early Retirement Program (VERIP III) has been under consideration as one of the options.
At this time, it is certain that there will not be a VERIP III offered effective July 1, 1993. No decision has yet been reached about whether such a program will be offered in 1994. We will keep you informed of developments.
