SUBJECT: Director of Transportation and Parking Services
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory Snee as the
Director of Transportation and Parking Services, replacing Robert
Umstead who retired last October.
Mr. Snee has spent nearly thirteen years in the Transportation
and Parking Services Department. His previous assignments
included five years at the UCSD Medical Center as Parking and
Transportation Coordinator, and eight years as the Manager of the
Transportation Alternatives program. Concurrently, he has been
serving as interim manager of the Central Garage. Greg received
his undergraduate degree from UCSD.
As the manager of Alternative Transportation, Greg has developed
the largest such program in San Diego County. Through Greg's
leadership and direction, the program has received several
awards, including recognition by the Governor's office for
contributions to the community.
