It is my pleasure to announce that Professor David R. Miller has been
appointed Associate Dean of the School of Engineering. His
appointment is effective immediately.
Professor Miller has been a member of the Department of Applied Mechanics
and Engineering Sciences (AMES) since 1966. He has served as the Chair of
the AMES Department, and as Acting Dean of Engineering.
Professor Miller's responsibilities will include oversight of the
day-to-day operations for the School of Engineering. During my absence
from the campus, he will act in my stead.
We are delighted that Professor Miller has accepted this appointment. His
office is located on the 7th floor of EBUI and he can be reached at Ext.
40008.
