OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT VICE CHANCELLOR - ADMINISTRATIVE COMPUTING AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
June 20, 1994
KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF SUBJECT: Relocation of ACT Computing Facilities
On Friday July 1, 1994 the ACT Computing Center will be shutdown in order to relocate the computing facility from Convoy Court to Torrey Pines Center South. This means that those individuals who require access to IFIS, ISIS, PPS, DSE or TSO facilities on the IBM mainframe computer will not be able to access the system until normal operations are resumed at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 5, 1994.
We realize that this may be an inconvenience to our clients. However, we expect normal operations will be restored, and all normal batch work scheduled for this holiday weekend will be completed when we resume operations at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning July 5, 1994. Thank you for your patience during this transition.
Roger M. Talamantez
Assistant Vice Chancellor
