Having a University & State Employees (USE) Credit Union branch on campus is an exclusive benefit for all UCSD faculty, staff and students, one that provides many valuable time and cost saving advantages.
A one-time fee of $10.00 entitles employees and students to lifetime membership privileges, including checking accounts, low interest credit cards, and a variety of investment and retirement savings. Many faculty, staff and student members already take advantage of the credit union's convenient SurePay service which automatically deposits their University paycheck each payday. In addition to saving valuable time, this service ensures that your funds are immediately available at any of USE's four San Diego locations or through ATM card access at any statewide CO-OP ATM location or the STAR SYSTEM and CIRRUS teller machines worldwide. Also, USE's all-electronic telephone service, Live Wire, provides instant access to account information 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via touchtone phone.
