SUBJECT: Appointment -- Director of Admissions and Recruitment
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mae Brown to the new position of Director of Admissions and Recruitment. She will assume the position July 10, 1995. Mae has been with UCSD for 23 years. She began her University career in 1972 in the Office of Admissions, served as an academic counselor at Warren College, and presently serves as the Director of Academic Advising for Thurgood Marshall College. Mae's new duties will include management responsibility for undergraduate admissions/evaluations processing, and student outreach and recruitment.
