SUBJECT: Parking During the Holidays The Department of Transportation and Parking Services will waive the parking fee required to park in "S" yellow-striped student, and
meter spaces from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on December 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 1996 and January 2, 3, 4, 5, 1997. Additionally, on these
dates a parking fee will not be required to park in "A" (red), and "B" (green) spaces from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. On official university holdays, December 24, 25, 31, 1996 and January 1, 1997, a parking fee will not be required to park in "A" (red), "B" (green), "S" (yellow-striped), and meter spaces.
The Campus Parking Office will be closed Monday, December 23, 1996 through Thursday, January 2, 1997, and will reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 1997 for the beginning of Winter Quarter. The Gilman and Northview Information Booths will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on days that are not designated as official university holidays between December 23, 1996-January 5, 1997.
The Special Events Parking Office will be closed December 23, 1996 through January 5, 1997. However, if you need daytime event assistance between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on days that are not official university holidays, please call 534-9682, and a supervisor will return your call.
The Transportation Alternatives Office and the Parking Citation Adjudication Office will be closed Monday, December 23, 1996 through Wednesday, January 1, 1997, and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 1997.
