KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF
SUBJECT: Policy and Procedural Changes Regarding the Hiring
of Student Employees in Casual-Restricted, Staff-Titled Positions
To expedite the hiring of student employees, effective Tuesday, September 2, 1997, Career Services' Job Opportunities Program will no longer require students who are applying for on-campus student, staff-titled jobs to come to our office to pick up referrals. Open positions will continue to be listed through our office and posted on our home page at http://www-csc.ucsd.edu. These job listings are password protected and students must register on-line to view them.
We will discuss this and other policy changes at twelve meetings. Please send a representative from your office to one of the meetings listed below. All meetings will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, at the Career Services Center located along Library Walk.
Tuesday - July 22, July 29, August 5, August 12 Wednesday - July 23, July 30, August 13
Thursday - July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14 Friday - August 8
