SUBJECT:	Reminder - U.S. Postal Service Rate Increase
On July 22, 1998, a NOTICE was sent to the campus that outlined the January
10, 1999 U.S. Postal Service Rate Increase. Some of the highlights are
First Class stamps will increase to $.33; Priority Mail to $3.20; Express
Mail to $11.75.
The new "H" Stamps for First Class, Priority Mail, and Express Mail are
now available for sale at Mail Services and at the Price Center Post
Office. Now is the perfect opportunity to purchase the new "H" stamp to
avoid mailing delays due to short paid postage. For those of you that have
large quantities of $.32 stamps, a "Make-up" ($.01) stamp is also available
for sale.
The Mail Services staff is available to answer any questions you may have
regarding this rate increase and to assist you in making a decision on the
