SUBJECT:    University Sponsored Entertainment, PPM 350-30

PPM 350-30, University Sponsored Entertainment, has been reissued in its entirety to update policy in general and to include the policy outlined in the new Business and Finance Bulletin BUS-79 issued by the Office of the President.

This PPM provides the policy and procedure for which UCSD may extend hospitality for business purposes and provides the maximum per person meal allowances authorized for entertainment. The allowances were announced by a previous campus notice and have not changed.

Please also reference the special Campus Notice, Entertainment Special Events - Holiday Gatherings, issued on November 29, 1999 for additional guidelines. This notice will be incorporated into this PPM at a future date.
