SUBJECT:     Construction Alert - Road Closure
                    La Jolla Drive (North End Only)

Villa La Jolla Drive will be closed to traffic from north of the V.A. Hospital entrance to Gilman Drive for four weeks starting Monday, July 10 to Wednesday, August 9, 2000. This is due to road improvements at the Gilman Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive intersection. Access to Parking Lot 602 will be through the recently opened north entrance off of Gilman Drive. The east entrance to Parking Lot 602 from Via La Jolla Drive will be closed off to all traffic. The road to the V.A. Hospital from La Jolla Village Drive will remain open to traffic. However traffic into the University should enter via Gilman Drive, or other routes.
