SUBJECT:  Revisions to UCSD Implementing Procedures 30/Salary

The UCSD Implementing Procedures 30/Salary has been revised effective October 1, 2000. Revisions include: - additional language clarifying sections II (A) - Appointments Rates and II (B) - Merit Increases / Casual Increases, - revisions to section II (E) - Equity Increases, and - additions to section III - Responsibility, clarifying department head responsibility for maintaining internal equity and indicating circumstances under which the Human Resources Department may delegate authority under this policy.

The revised Procedures may be accessed on the Human Resources Department website at:

Policy Manual Holders should print and file the revised Procedures with their UC Personnel Policies for Staff Members, and update the Table of Contents accordingly.
