SUBJECT:  Cancellation of UCSD United Way/Combined Health Agency
                     Drive (CHAD) "Lead The Way!" Rally

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the UCSD United Way/Combined Health Agency Drive (CHAD) Rally has been cancelled. However, other campaign activities will continue and run through March 17, 2001.

United Way/CHAD provides an efficient and cost-effective way to support the many agencies that make our community a better place to live. Additionally, it offers us the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Your gift supports community programs to enhance senior independence, develop diverse communities, empower persons with disabilities, improve health and wellness, protect the environment, strengthen families in crisis and invest in children and youth.
