KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF

SUBJECT:  Appointment of Assistant to the Vice Chancellor,
                    Coordination and Community Relations

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Darlene V. Willis has accepted the newly created position of Assistant to the Vice Chancellor-Coordination and Community Relations, effective July 9, 2001.

Dr. Willis has had extensive experience in providing leadership and administrative direction to student services programs. Since 1997, she has served as Executive Director for the Associated Students, Inc. and a Senior Manager for the Vice President for Student Affairs executive staff at California State University, San Marcos. Prior to that, she served for six years as the Director of Administrative Services for the University Union, Inc. at California State University, Hayward. Dr. Willis has also held management positions as Director of Education and Director of Career and Graduate Services at the Lawton School of Business, and was a Counselor for the Upward Bound Program at Mills College. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC Irvine and her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant University.

We are pleased to have Dr. Willis join our Student Affairs staff and I hope you will join me in welcoming her to her new position.
