KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF SUBJECT: 15,000 EXPECTED FOR OPEN HOUSE! The Office of the Chancellor recently announced that the year 2001 will mark the revival of Open House, following a 10-year hiatus. The event marking the culmination of the 40th Anniversary celebration will be held in conjunction with Homecoming activities on Saturday, October 20, 2001. Open House will celebrate UCSD's achievements and involvement in the community. WHAT'S IN IT FOR US? Open House is the ideal event to showcase your department and program's work and your contributions to an anticipated audience of 15,001 from campus and the communities of San Diego. It is also an excellent recruiting opportunity. FREE BREAKFAST AND/OR T-SHIRTS TO THE FIRST FIFTEEN DEPARTMENTS TO SIGN UP FOR OPEN HOUSE! Open House is a day for staff, prospective students, and the community alike to explore the range of possibilities and opportunities available at UCSD. Enjoy campus tours, academic seminars, laboratory demonstrations, informational table displays, athletics, and cultural performances, intermingled with music, games, food, and fun.
