SUBJECT: Appointment of Education Specialist - Carol Rogers
We are happy to announce that Carol Rogers has joined the Office of Sexual Harassment Prevention and Policy as its education specialist. She is working to develop programs regarding sexual harassment issues for students at UCSD and to coordinate OSHPP's educational outreach with other appropriate UCSD offices.
Ms. Rogers brings a wealth of experience to her new position. A graduate of UCSD, Ms. Rogers received a J.D. from Georgetown and practiced law for a number of years, including as a public defender and as trial counsel for the California State Bar. She then served as Director of Minority Affairs at Caifornia Western School of Law, where she counseled minority students on admissions, academic, personal and career issues and supervised recruitment and retention efforts. Finally, she comes to us from the California Minority Counsel Program, where she served as its Executive Director. Carol can be reached directly at 822-3702, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
OSHPP provides a full range of education programs for the entire UCSD community. To find out more about these programs or to schedule a presentation, please drop by our office at University Center Building 201 (corner of Gilman and Myers) or call us:
