SUBJECT:  2001-2002 Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program

On behalf of Chancellor Robert C. Dynes, I am pleased to announce the names of those being recognized as recipients of the 2001-2002 UCSD Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program.

These selections were made by a Review Committee comprised of representatives from the Chancellor's Office, each Vice Chancellor area and UCSD Healthcare who evaluated all nominations and recommended the ten named individuals for recognition based on their notable service. Nominations were submitted pursuant to a February 2002 Notice announcing the 2001-2002 Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program. The announcement invited nominations of Professional and Support Staff (PSS) level employees who demonstrated exemplary service and made other contributions to the UCSD community in accordance with the program guidelines.

The recipients of the 2001-2002 UCSD Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program are:
