Subject:  The Campaign for UCSD Celebration

We invite you to attend a campus celebration on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 to mark the largest fund-raising initiative in UCSD's history, The Campaign for UCSD: Imagine What's Next.

We also will celebrate the milestone that UCSD has already raised $445 million toward our goal, and the recent $110 million gift to the Jacobs School of Engineering from former faculty member Irwin Jacobs and his wife Joan.

All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to join in the celebration. The event will be held in Room 111A in the Chancellor's Complex, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In addition to cake and beverages, staff from External Relations will be available to answer any questions you may have about the campaign.
