SUBJECT: Informal Review: SRSSC Internal Recruitment Initiative
The Staff Retention and Support Steering Committee (SRSSC) proposed several initiatives to help UCSD employees achieve their professional aspirations, including an expansion of career opportunities for promotion and transfer. The Internal Recruitment initiative, as proposed, will benefit employees by providing priority consideration during the recruitment period, and will benefit supervisors by permitting early access to qualified applicants with knowledge of campus organizations, processes, and systems.
