DEPARTMENT BUSINESS OFFICERS AND KEY PERSONNEL

SUBJECT:  Overdraft Balance Reports for May will be generated in June

As indicated in our April 2, 2003 Campus Notice regarding the new overdraft reporting and monitoring process, the Overdraft Reporting System is now operational. This system will be generating Overdraft Balance reports in FinancialLink for ledger activity through May after the ledger close date of June 6. E-mail notifications providing links to the Overdraft Balance reports will be distributed to the responsible offices--campus departments, Vice Chancellors, Deans and the Controller.

Individuals with responsibilities directly related to fund management should have their overdraft reporting profiles completed before May 30. This would include such positions as fund manager, financial manager, MSO, and unit manager as well as those positions with fiscal oversight responsibilities in the Deans', Vice Chancellors' and Controller's Offices.
