ALL ACADEMICS AT UCSD
SUBJECT: THE UCSD OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS AND RELATIONS WITH SCHOOLS
Student-led walking tours are available to prospective students and their families, and group tours for school groups, through the Campus Tours Program with the Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools. The office is located in the Price Center Theater Lobby, Room 1.408.
Tours for prospective students and their families are conducted Monday-Saturday (excluding holidays and holiday weekends) at 11:00 a.m. Tours depart from the lower level of the Price Center in the Theater lobby. Visitors are instructed to allow enough time, when coming to campus, for traffic, to stop at the Visitor Information Booth, purchase a parking permit (on weekdays), park, and walk to the Price Center Theater Lobby by 10:45 a.m. Tours depart promptly at 11:00 a.m. and last 90 minutes. On weekdays, tours are followed by an Admissions Information Session conducted at 1:00 p.m. by a UCSD Admissions Officer.
Tours for school groups must be arranged in advance, in writing. Tours for high school and community college groups are offered at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. on weekdays, except holidays. UCSD is unable to provide meals or overnight accommodations. Campus visit requests for elementary and middle schools can be directed to email@example.com and will be handled on a case-by-case basis, due to budget limitations.
Tour information and reservations for both prospective students and
school groups can be obtained at Web site:
Tour Accommodations for Visitors with Physical Limitations.
Visitors requiring special services to accommodate physical limitations are asked to inform the Campus Tours office one week in advance of the tour date.
