SUBJECT:    Appointment of Aubrey C. Ellis as Interim Student Conduct
Coordinator for Student Policies and Judicial Affairs (SPJA)

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Aubrey C. Ellis as the Interim Student Conduct Coordinator. Aubrey will serve as the campus contact for all complaints of alleged student misconduct. He will also be available to assist UCSD faculty and staff in assessing incidents of suspected misconduct and preparing and presenting cases at formal hearings.

Mr. Ellis brings to UCSD 21 years of experience in Human Resources and Labor Relations. He is also a Credentialed Mediator by the San Diego Mediation Center. He was recently appointed adjunct professor at Thomas Jefferson Law School, where he will teach a class on “Conflict in the Workplace.” He was Dean of Students for five (5) years at Knoxville College, Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Ellis received a BA in History and Criminology from UC Berkeley, a Juris Doctorate from UC Davis School of Law, and an MA in Conflict Resolution from California State University.
