I am very pleased to announce that the University of California Board of Regents has officially approved UC President Robert Dynes' recommendation of Dr. Marye Anne Fox as the new Chancellor for UCSD. Chancellor-Designate Fox has outstanding credentials and is a proven leader in higher education and science. I am confident that her leadership will take UCSD to new levels of excellence and innovation, and I look forward to working with her in the coming months.
