Appointment of Manager, General Accounting

It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of William C. (Bill) McCarroll to the position of Manager, General Accounting for UCSD. Bill's appointment was effective on May 1, 2004.

Bill brings excellent knowledge, skill and leadership to this position. Most recently, Bill was an award-winning Senior Associate and Finance Team Leader for Booz, Allen, Hamilton Consulting. Previous to those responsibilities, he had a distinguished career in the United States Air Force as a Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer for several key units, as well as a Budget Officer for a number of domestic and international (NATO) development programs.

Bill is a graduate of the University of Southern California with an MS in Systems Management, and San Diego State University with a BS in Accounting. Please join me in welcoming Bill to his first fiscal closing at UCSD. He may be reached at wmccarroll@ucsd.edu or 4-4736.
