Murray Goodman Memorial June 7, 2004

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the University of California, San Diego, have been deeply saddened by the loss of one of its valued colleagues, Professor Murray Goodman. Services for Professor Goodman will be held today, Monday, June 7, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Congregation Beth El, 8660 Gilman Drive, La Jolla.

It is the family's wish that no flowers be sent. The Department would like to remember Murray Goodman with a lectureship. Contributions should be made out to UC Regents and sent to sent to The Murray Goodman Memorial Fund, care of Chair, Dept of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mail Code 0332, UCSD, La Jolla, CA 92093-0332. Additional information suggesting other charitable organizations selected by Murray's family will be posted on the department website http://chem.ucsd.edu/.
