U.S. Postal Service Rate Hike - Effective January 8, 2006

On November 14, 2005, the Postal Rate Commission and the Board of Governors from the U.S. Postal Service made the decision to increase the postal rates effective January 8, 2006. For First Class mail, the rate will increase by 2 cents to $.39 for the first ounce.
