Subject:	Libraries Holiday Schedule, December 23, 2005 to
	January 2, 2006

Hours
In recognition of the campus closure during the 2005 holiday season, all UCSD Libraries, with the exception of the Medical Center Library (MCL), will be closed December 23, 2005 to January 2, 2006. MCL will be open December 27-29, 2005, to support the clinicians at the Medical Center. Libraries will reopen on January 3, 2006. Course Reserves
Instructors who plan to offer library-supported course reserves during Winter Quarter 2006 are strongly encouraged to prepare and submit course reserve lists immediately. Course lists may be submitted via http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/reserves-form.html. Course reserve lists submitted by instructors after 22 December 2005 will be processed in the order received starting on 3 January 2006.

Electronic Resources
Many online resources, including databases and electronic journals, will be available for remote access during the closure. Access to library-supported restricted resources will be through the campus proxy server.
