ALL ACADEMICS AT UCSD

SUBJECT:    2006 United Way/CHAD Campaign

The 2006 United Way/CHAD Campaign officially kicked-off on February 14th, 2006 and runs through March 17th, 2006. This year's theme is "The Power of U...Making a Difference." I hope you will join me this year in supporting the United Way/CHAD Campaign. United Way/ CHAD is a highly efficient, effective, and accountable way to make a positive difference in individual lives. Last year, 900,000 people - that's one in three San Diegans - were helped with funds from the United Way/ CHAD Campaign.

If you have any questions or information regarding United Way/CHAD, please contact this year's Academic Affairs United Way/CHAD Steering Committee Member, Earline (Earl) Delos Santos (534-0129 or edelossantos@ucsd.edu). A list of the Academic Affairs Department Coordinators, who are also available to assist you with your pledge forms, may be found at the following link:

This year only those UCSD employees who do not have computers and/or email accounts received campaign packets by mail. The online pledge application can be found at the following link:

On behalf of United Way/CHAD and UCSD, thank you for your continued support of this important effort.
