SUBJECT:    New Blink and TritonLink Resources for Parents

The University of California, San Diego, strives to provide faculty, staff, and students with resources for their personal, professional and academic lives. Working parents and students who are parents often need resources to help them find the best child care, enrichment programs, and educational programs for their children while they take on the challenges of working or studying.

The University provides many opportunities to enrich employees' and students' personal lives, including physical fitness programs and resources for psychological, emotional, and spiritual health. Blink and TritonLink have now added important information for parents in search of quality care, educational programs, and enrichment experiences for their children.

These new parent resources can be found on Blink at''. http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/parents and on TritonLink at http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/tritonparents. The resources include information about day care, camps, and enrichment programs for children, both on and off campus. In addition, this new section of information provides links to all schools in San Diego County, as well as a link to "Shopping for a School Online," a tool that helps parents locate specific schools or educational programs that serve the unique needs of their children. If you're a parent of a child in junior or senior high school, you can easily check the requirements that students need to meet for future admission to UC schools.

I encourage you to take advantage of these valuable resources.
