KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Elyce Morris as Director of Student Legal Services (SLS), effective July 1, 2006. Elyce will serve as the campus contact for all student-related legal counseling matters as well as oversee the Community Law Project and the Volunteers in Tax Assistance SLS programs.
Having counseled and advised students, as well as being instrumental in program development at Student Legal Services since 2002, Elyce brings a varied and rich legal and student counseling background to this position. Her legal experience prior to coming to UCSD in 2002 spans the legal fields of family law, labor law and probate litigation. She also has training and experience in alternate dispute resolution which will benefit students and the campus community.
Elyce graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in English and in History and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She is an active member of the State Bar of California.
