SUBJECT:	Chancellor’s Town Hall Meetings at Thornton Hospital and
	UCSD Medical Center, Hillcrest

On Tuesday, September 26, I will hold two Town Hall meetings – one at Thornton Hospital and one at UCSD Medical Center, Hillcrest – so that I may provide an update on campus initiatives, hear your ideas, and answer questions you may have.

The Town Hall meeting at Thornton Hospital, La Jolla, will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Coral Room; and the Town Hall meeting at UCSD Medical Center, Hillcrest, will be from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Small Dining Room.

In order to allow employees the opportunity to attend the event, one (1) hour of administrative leave with pay has been approved. All managers and supervisors are encouraged to allow employees to attend, as long as the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties or patient care.
