UCSD CAREER FAIR - SAVE THE DATE!

I am pleased to announce that UCSD will host the first annual "University of California, San Diego Career Fair," on Saturday, October 21, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Price Center Ballroom and Library Walk.

In conjunction with the UCSD Open House, this event will be open to the San Diego community and is designed to support the outreach initiatives aimed at improving diversity of UCSD staff recruitments. The UCSD Career Fair will include several presentations, workshops, career panels, and exhibits highlighting the various campus and Medical Center departments. Participants will have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with the UCSD department hiring managers, attend our Career Workshop Seminars and have their resume reviewed and critiqued by human resources professionals.

We need your participation at this event. Department hiring managers will have the opportunity to interface with applicants, share information about their respective departments, and meet potential candidates for current and future vacancies. Individuals interested in professional development and moving along with their careers will have the wonderful chance to ask questions and learn more about potential job opportunities with the various participating UCSD departments.
