KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF (including UCSD Medical Center)
I am pleased to announce the 2006-2007 Salary Program for policy covered (nonexclusively represented) employees. The merit fund pool is 3.5%. The salary increases will take effect October 1, 2006 for monthly paid employees, and September 24, 2006 for biweekly paid employees. Merit increases are intended for employees with an overall solid or better performance level. The 2006-2007 Salary Program includes additional funding for equity/parity increases. The fund pool is 0.5%. This limited funding provides Vice Chancellors the opportunity to assess the salary rates of the employees in their departments and to address salary inequities. Salary recommendations for those employees who are to receive an equity/parity increase will be processed after the merit increases have been implemented, but will be effective October 1st.
Salary increases for exclusively represented staff are subject to collective bargaining agreements. Salary increases for academic personnel will be detailed in a separate communication from the Senior Vice Chancellor - Academic Affairs.
