ALL ACADEMICS AND STAFF AT UCSD (including UCSD Medical Center)
ALL STUDENTS AT UCSD
Due to the continuing concern of the fires, the UCSD campus has canceled classes Wednesday, October 24. The air quality continues to threaten the health of all in this general area. The fires are still uncontained and many nearby entities will not be operating tomorrow. Most non-essential personnel are asked not to come to campus, but we are aware that in some cases there are those that might be needed. All personnel considering coming onto campus, please check in with your department first.
UCSD Medical Center and Medical Group employees are expected to report to their jobs as scheduled. ALL UCSD Healthcare clinics and hospitals are open.
Residence and dining halls and student health center are open and staffed to serve students.
We want to thank everyone for their continued patience and cooperation during this uncertain time. We understand that this can be somewhat disconcerting for parents who are not in the immediate area, but we want to assure parents and families that students on campus have access to essential services and we have plans in place if the need arises to take further measures.
Please continue to visit the UCSD website for additional information http://ucsd.edu
