SUBJECT:    UC San Diego marketing and research effort

As many of you know, UC San Diego is engaged in a long term effort to identify and strengthen its external messages and institutional brand, regionally, nationally and internationally. Last year, we retained the services of a research consultant to guide us in identifying our strongest brand attributes and key messages.

Last June, many of you took the time to share your opinions and perceptions about UCSD’s strengths and distinctive attributes in a web-based survey. We are now nearing the end of the research phase of this initiative and would like to get your feedback on the top seven UCSD attributes that have been identified. The survey will take less than eight minutes to complete. Your responses will be very helpful in this effort.

All responses will be kept strictly confidential. After you complete the survey, your responses will be separated from all source identification and will only be reported in the aggregate.
