SUBJECT:	Search for Associate Vice Chancellor - Research Facilities
	(AVC-RF)

Applications and nominations are invited for a half-time position (0.5 FTE) of Associate Vice Chancellor in the Office of Research Affairs (ORA). The Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Facilities would serve as part of the Vice Chancellor for Research's leadership team in establishing priorities and undertaking new initiatives consistent with those priorities.

The Associate Vice Chancellor-RF will have the following general responsibilities:

* Core Research Facilities
* Animal Care and Use Program

Applicants should be tenured faculty members with a broad view of the research enterprise. A strong record of prior administrative experience is highly desirable. Candidates should also have a commitment to and demonstrated success in achieving institutional diversity goals.
