The University invites comments on proposed revisions to Academic Personnel Policy (APM) 240, Deans.
APM 240 has been revised to provide greater clarity as to the role of the dean on the campus as a high level academic administrator. The revised policy further seeks to clarify eligibility for service as a dean, and provides detailed information on the terms of service, appointment and salary, conditions of appointment, benefits, and privileges for faculty serving as dean. Deans who are members of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan will remain in the Senior Management Group (SMG) Program and will not be subject to APM 240.
