Staff Appreciation at UC San Diego

I am pleased to announce that a series of Staff Appreciation events will take place on campus from April 20 through April 24, 2009. UC San Diego’s continuing trajectory of excellence has been based in large measure on the dedication and professionalism of our employees, and I encourage everyone to pay tribute to our extraordinary staff by participating in an upcoming Staff Appreciation event.

In recognition of the Staff Appreciation events at UC San Diego, I am approving one hour of administrative leave with pay that employees may apply to their attendance at a Staff Appreciation Event activity when the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties or patient care.
