CONSTRUCTION ALERT - Canyonview East Pool Renovation

Project Description/Location:

The Canyonview East Pool Renovation project includes the demolition of the existing concrete deck and cantilevered edge around both the existing pool and spa. It also includes the removal and replacement of identified deteriorating concrete within the pool itself, installation of a new accessible ramp and replacement of the wood fence. The staging area at the perimeter of the pool facility, where material will be stored, will be re-seeded when the project is completed.

Immediate Street Impacts:

Beginning May 11, 2009 and continuing until June 26, 2009, vehicular traffic around the site and on adjacent streets will be impacted at times to accommodate construction activities. There will be occasions when Voigt Drive will be limited to one lane of traffic. During these times flagmen will be present to direct traffic and pedestrians. The pedestrian sidewalk immediately adjacent to the construction staging area may be impacted as well. All the sidewalks adjacent to the project will remain open throughout the duration of the Project with the exception of those times when trucks are actually crossing this sidewalk.
